Advent Yoga - 21 days til Christmas!

Warrior II (Virabhadrasana II) - Begin in Tadasana (Mountain Pose). Step the right foot back and lunge with the front knee. (Make sure the knee is directly above the ankle to avoid injury). The back foot should be slightly turned out with the front foot pointing straight ahead. In this variation, reach your right arm forward and your left arm is lifted behind you. Take 3 deep breaths and repeat on the left side!

Benefits: Stretches the entire body and strengthens several areas including the back, shoulders and arms. Improves balance and stability.​
